ABOUT
ME!

Nina Corder’s story is rooted in a single, unwavering conviction: when women have access to opportunity, community, and voice, they don’t just survive systems, they redesign them. After immigrating to the United States from Malaysia more than two decades ago, Nina experienced firsthand how talent can be constrained by disconnected systems, limited networks, and invisible barriers. That lived reality became the foundation of her life’s work in building human-centered infrastructure that moves women from isolation to influence.
In 2013, Nina founded Women of Toledo, transforming grassroots convening into a regional engine for women’s economic equity and leadership development. What began as relationship-based community work evolved into a scalable ecosystem serving thousands of women and girls through mentorship pipelines, youth leadership programs, workforce readiness, and civic engagement. Under her leadership, Women of Toledo has raised more than $2.1 million, reached over 12,000 women and youth, helped shape local gender-equity policy, including Pay Equity and CEDAW adoption, and contributed to the city and county’s designation as a Certified Welcoming Community. Her work proved that empathy and execution can coexist on a scale.
As Nina’s impact deepened locally, her vision expanded globally. Recognizing that women everywhere face the same structural challenges, such as limited access to capital, mentorship, education, networks, and markets, Nina launched HerHub Global, translating more than two decades of on-the-ground leadership, policy advocacy, and global engagement into a future-ready ecosystem designed to remove invisible barriers across borders. HerHub Global is not simply a program; it is an integrated digital infrastructure that aligns learning, commerce, technology, and storytelling to unlock economic mobility for women worldwide.
Nina envisioned HerHub as a place where a woman could learn, connect, build, and be seen all within a single, interconnected platform. Threaded throughout the platform is a storytelling architecture that centers women’s lived experiences. As a UN Women Global Champion for Change and recipient of national and international human rights awards, Nina understands that visibility drives legitimacy. HerHub Global elevates women’s stories not as testimonials, but as evidence fueling advocacy, inspiring collective action, and reshaping how women’s contributions are valued in economies and societies. What distinguishes Nina’s leadership is her ability to translate values into systems. By aligning HerHub Global with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, she ensures impact is not only aspirational but measurable in advancing economic inclusion, education, innovation, and gender equity across continents. Partnerships continue to grow with women-led organizations, universities, development agencies, and private-sector champions committed to scalable, inclusive growth.
Across every chapter of her journey from Women of Toledo to HerHub Global, Nina leads with relational intelligence and strategic rigor. She builds trust, conveys unlikely partners, and operates that trust into durable systems that outlast any single leader. Nina Corder’s story is not about individual success. It is about redefining community as infrastructure, equity as strategy, and connection as the most powerful tool for transformation. Her work demonstrates that when women are resourced, visible, and connected with entire systems and entire economies, quality of life will shift and scale.
